At X-Ray AI Analyzer, we believe that getting an AI-powered read of your X-ray should be just the beginning — not the end — of what you can do with that information. That is why we are excited to announce a brand-new feature: a downloadable, fully editable Word (.docx) report, available right next to the existing Print PDF button.
Whether you are a patient trying to organize your medical records, a pet owner keeping track of your companion's imaging history, or a clinic looking for a polished document to share with clients, this new option gives you far greater flexibility. And because every edit happens on your own device — after you download the file — your personal information never touches our servers.
What Is the New Word Report?
Once your X-ray has been analyzed by our AI engine, you will now see two export options side by side:
- Print / Save as PDF — the familiar one-click option for a clean, ready-to-print document.
- Download Word Report (.docx) — a new editable file you can open in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice, or any compatible word processor.
The Word report contains the same AI-generated findings you already see on screen, structured into clear sections that are easy to read even if you are not a medical professional. From there, you are free to customize it in a number of useful ways.
What Can You Edit Inside the Report?
We have designed the Word document with practical, real-world use in mind. Here is what you can fill in or modify after downloading:
1. Patient or Pet Details (filled in locally by you)
- Full name
- Patient or pet ID number
- Date of birth
- Exam date
- Referring doctor or veterinarian
All of these fields are clearly labeled placeholders inside the document. You type directly into your own copy on your own device. At no point are these details transmitted to X-Ray AI Analyzer — we simply never see them.
2. Clinic Logo in the Header If you run a veterinary practice, imaging center, or any healthcare-adjacent clinic, you can insert your logo into the document header. This makes the finished report look professional and consistent with your other client-facing materials, without requiring any integration with our platform.
3. Clinical Notes There is a dedicated section where practitioners or informed users can add their own observations, follow-up recommendations, or context that goes beyond what the AI has identified. Think of it as a margin for professional judgment — a space that bridges the AI's output and the human expertise that interprets it.
4. Section Deletion The report is divided into two main sections: a patient-facing summary written in plain language, and a more detailed clinical section that uses standard radiological terminology. You can delete whichever section does not fit your needs:
- Sharing with a patient or pet owner? Keep the plain-language summary, remove the clinical section.
- Filing with a specialist or in a medical records system? Keep the clinical detail, remove the simplified version.
This dual-section design means one report can genuinely serve multiple audiences.
Why This Matters for Privacy
Privacy is not an afterthought here — it is the entire design philosophy behind this feature.
Unlike cloud-based document editors or forms that auto-save to a remote server, the Word report works entirely offline after download. You open it, you edit it, and it lives on your computer, tablet, or phone. We never ask you to send it back. We never receive the filled-in version. Your name, your patient ID, your date of birth — none of it passes through our systems.

We want to be completely transparent about something, because it matters.
The content generated by X-Ray AI Analyzer is an AI-powered analysis — a tool to help you notice patterns, ask better questions, and come to appointments more informed. It is not a medical diagnosis, and it should never replace the judgment of a licensed physician, radiologist, or veterinarian.
When you download the Word report and begin editing it, you are working with a document that reflects what our AI observed in the image at the time of analysis. Once that file is on your device, any changes you make are your own responsibility. If you add clinical notes, modify the AI's wording, remove sections, or insert additional information, those edits belong to you — not to X-Ray AI Analyzer.
We include a clear disclaimer inside every downloaded report that states it is an AI-generated analysis and not a substitute for professional medical advice. We strongly encourage you to keep that disclaimer intact, especially if you plan to share the document with others. Editing or removing it does not change the nature of the underlying analysis — it simply removes the context that helps readers interpret it correctly.
To put it simply: the report is a starting point, not a conclusion.
